Gloss UV coatings for in- and offline application provide highest gloss with excellent protection.
NewV lac gloss
Application
Our NewV lac gloss coatings are suitable for inline and offline offset as well as letterpress or further web offset applications with conventional mercury vapour lamps, LED UV curing or iron doped UV curing.
Your Benefits
NewV lac gloss coatings have a high reactivity, even surface, very good running characteristics, low tendency to yellowing and low dry back effect. They offer high gloss, brilliance as well as high mechanical stability and chemical resistance to protect and to upgrade the printed product.

Special Properties
These coatings do not include volatile solvents, which means, their application does not lead to VOC emission.

Substrates
- Coated papers and cardboards
- Metalized substrates
- Plastic substrates such as PE, PET, PP, OPP, BOPP, PVC, etc.
- Top-coated grades of board (LED UV curing)
Non-absorbent substrates must have a surface tension of at least 38 mN/m in order to ensure optimum ink adhesion. We generally recommend running an adhesion test before beginning the actual print run.
